Roasted chestnuts

Ingredients
- ½  pound of chestnuts
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F.
2. Cut a large X through the skin of the chestnut on the flat side.
3. Place on a baking pan and roast for about 30-40 minutes.
4. Shake the pan intermittently while they are roasting and make sure to rotate the chestnuts so they roast evenly.
5. Remove from the oven and peel once they are cool enough to handle.
*If the nuts cool completely, it becomes difficult to peel them, but you can reheat them just enough to peel them.
